About Flour Power

The last 150 years have not been good for bread. True bakeries have slowly disappeared and mass-produced factory bread has become the norm. Long fermented natural leavening has been replaced with dried commercial yeast, sacrificing both flavor and nutrition.

Flour Power has come into being to combat this, to bring back amazingly tasting and healthy artisan bread. With most products being leavened by natural leaven (sourdough starter). The use of natural leavening increases the nutritional values of bread and brings amazing flavor, both in breads and viennoiserie.

All products are marked with allergen icons, with many vegan products. Organic and local ingredients are used where possible, with the highest standard of quality.

Flour Power bakery is started and run by Luciano van der Toorn and Suzanne de Vries and is located in Skala Eresou on the island of Lesbos.

We are located in Skala Eresou, close to the big parking lot in the street towards Vigla Hill, next to the VR hall.
